Enjoy this 2:15-5:15PM tour that passes through a sea-side Japanese garden, a hidden beach fed by waterfalls that is a favorite of local surfers, a jungle drive, a walk through a tropical rainforest to world-renowned 'Akaka Falls, and then some fun in the sun on the Big Island's unique black sand beaches.  You can swim amongst the most colorful sea life on the planet (time permitting) and discover a secret cove of sea turtles.  Bring your swim gear/towel and underwater camera if you packed them, our van has plenty of storage space. Every stop is a photo-op, with the last only a couple of miles from the harbor, allowing us to assure cruisers a timely return (approx. 1 hour before ship departure).

Bundle & Save: Consider bundling this afternoon experience with our morning tour that brings Hilo cruisers and visitors to fiery volcanoes (when there are active eruptions), lava tubes and volcanic formations, additional tropical waterfalls, and locally raised confectionaries.  In between these tours cruise passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy the ship's complimentary on-board lunch and time to change attire (morning walking shoes and afternoon sandals).
